Newborn Photography

There is something so special about the newborn stage. The quiet moments at home, the tiny fingers wrapped around yours, the way time somehow feels slow and fast all at once. It is a season filled with love, exhaustion, wonder, and moments you already know you never want to forget.

My newborn sessions are created to preserve that feeling.

I take a relaxed, documentary-inspired approach to photographing your family during these early days. Rather than stiff poses or overly styled setups, I focus on natural connection, genuine emotion, and all of the little in-between moments that make this season yours. The way you look at your baby. The sleepy stretches. The tiny details you’ll miss before you even realize they’ve changed.

These sessions are intentionally calm and baby-led. We move at your baby’s pace, allowing time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and snuggles whenever needed. There is no rush and no pressure for everything to be “perfect.” Real life is welcome here, and often those honest moments become the most meaningful images.

Most families choose to have their newborn session in the comfort of their own home, where everyone can feel relaxed and settled in a space that already holds so much meaning. Your nursery, the couch where you rock them at night, the bedroom where you’re soaking in every moment—these spaces become part of your story. If you prefer a simple studio setting, that is always an option as well.

I recommend booking your newborn session during pregnancy so I can reserve space around your due date. Once baby arrives, we’ll finalize the exact timing. Sessions typically happen within the first few weeks, but there is truly no strict deadline. Whether your baby is five days old or five weeks old, these memories are worth documenting.

My editing style is soft, warm, timeless, and true to life—images that will still feel beautiful decades from now. My hope is that when you look back on your gallery years from now, you won’t just remember how everything looked. You’ll remember how it felt.

If you’re expecting and thinking about documenting this chapter, I would love to create something meaningful for your family.
