MEET TAYLOR
Taylor is a professional boudoir and wedding photographer who captures portraits for women, documents love stories, and creates emotional, timeless imagery.
She started photography as a hobby nearly four years ago, and what began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a career she loves. Since then, she's had the privilege of photographing more than 50 women through boudoir sessions, along with countless weddings, couples, and portrait sessions.
"If you're going to do something vulnerable—like taking off your clothes and putting on lingerie—with someone you've just met, trust has to come before everything else. My goal is to create an experience where you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself. You don't need to know how to pose or have any modeling experience. I'll guide you through every step, and by the end of your session, I hope you leave feeling more confident than when you walked in."
WHAT IS BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
Boudoir. What is it? Boudoir photography is a form of professional photography that is intimate, flattering the curves and beauty of the client's body. Boudoir, which is French for a woman's private dressing room, inspires the intimacy of this genre of photography. It origanted in France in the 1890's, but truly came to life in the United States during the 1920's. During this time, boudoir photography was considered disgraceful in nature. In fact, it was actually made illegal to take or possess nude images.
What is boudoir photography now in 2023?
WHY SHOULD YOU BOOK A BOUDOIR SHOOT?
Boudoir photography is about embracing yourself and the stories that your body tells. To me, this type of photography is about feeling sexy and comfortable with where you are. The thing is, you can be comfortable in lingerie or you can be comfortable in your pajamas.
You probably have never felt confidence like the way it feels to see yourself behind the lens of a photographer. During my sessions, I periodically show my clients the images on my camera and I promise they all start to feel even more empowered to rock the shoot. Show casing our own beauty isn't something we set aside time for in our day-to-day lives so let's prioritize it today and make you feel great. When I deliver images, the reactions I get from clients are PRICELESS.
Um, hello? We always love a good excuse to get our hair, makeup, and nails done. It's even better to have an excuse to go shopping and buy new outfits that I feel great in. Here's the excuse. You're welcome.
Although everyone gets nervous walking into their first session, I can promise that by the time you leave your fears will have dissapeaed. Getting your hair & makeup done, drinking champagne, blasting Beyonce, and pretending you are a model will make you feel like a 10/10. Scratch that, you ARE a model!
Life is always changing, and some changes are welcomed and some are feared. If you are in a time of transition, whether that be romantically, emotionally, physically, mentally or any other kind of way, boudoir is amazing way to center yourself and find confidence.

Tip: Ordering prints is a great idea because your boudoir photos are small gems that can be left anywhere for them to find. ;)

I recommend scheduling your boudoir session about 2–4 months before your wedding. This gives us plenty of time for your gallery to be delivered and, if you'd like, to design a beautiful heirloom album that's ready for the big day.
Many of my wedding couples book their engagement photos, boudoir session, and/or wedding photography with me—it creates such a fun experience from start to finish.
